ABOUT
Our Mission.
A community seeking to be transformed into the image of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit equipping us to do the work of ministry in our communities.
What does that mean?
Transformation into the image of Christ not only affects the individual but should equally have an effect on the community that surrounds the follower of Christ. The two are connected.
The Fellowship of the Believers
(Acts 2:42-47)
And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe[d] came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Yes…we believe stuff.
Bible Authority: We believe the Bible is God's true and reliable word - a narrative about God’s unending and unwavering love for His people.
Salvation by Faith: Salvation is seen as a gift from God that comes through faith in Jesus, not by doing good things.
Personal Relationship with Jesus: We believe in a moment by moment relationship with Jesus through the work of His Spirit.
The Trinity: We believe in one God in three persons: Father, Jesus, and Spirit.
Jesus’ Death and Resurrection: We believe Jesus died and rose again, liberating people from the effects of sin and death.
Sharing the Gospel: Everyone should know the good news that God loves them and deeply desires a relationship with them. Every individual has a unique value and purpose.
Gathering is Good: It is a difficult world. We believe that it is good to come together in various different forums and venues to share the hope found in Jesus, celebrate God’s work in our communities, and equip others to be a part of ministry.
